Achieving a mirror-like shine on concrete surfaces requires more than just polishing equipment—it demands the correct Concrete Polishing Pad for each stage of the process. Whether you are working on commercial flooring, industrial spaces, or residential interiors, selecting the proper Concrete Polishing Pad plays a critical role in delivering a flawless, high gloss finish. Understanding grit levels, material quality, and application methods ensures professional and long-lasting results. Understanding the Importance of the Right Pad A high gloss finish depends heavily on using the correct Concrete Polishing Pad sequence. Concrete polishing is a step-by-step process that gradually refines the surface. If the wrong Concrete Polishing Pad is selected, it can lead to uneven shine, swirl marks, or incomplete polishing. Sealing and polishing with the granite polishing system.
Granite countertops, like other natural stone countertop materials such as marble, sandstone, and slate are resistant to staining and easier to clean only when properly sealed. The deeper into the surface of the material the sealer penetrates, the better it will resist stains, keep out bacteria and clean up with just mild detergent and a wet washcloth or a floor polishing diamond impregnated pad designed for your type of natural stone. The granite polishing system can help in sealing the polished shine of the granite floors or countertops.
Bonastre System offers Novagranite polishing system:
Nova Granite is a quick granite light and black polishing system, composed of 3 elements: liquid, powder, and a stainless steel granite disc. In a few minutes you will achieve a high shine, in addition to strengthening the surface giving it long durability:
- The right method of using the granite polishing system is in the Ratio of 2:1. Where the liquid is used in 2 parts and the powder in 1 part.
- The granite polishing powder and liquid are used to densify the granite floors. When the granite floors are grinded, honed, and polished, they lose a layer of stone. These products when combined and used adequately, increase the hardness of the floor.
- The granite polishing system can densify the floors and also add shine. This makes the floor more durable and non-slippery.
- The sealant is used by pros and proven to keep out moisture, so the risk of mold and bacteria is eliminated. It also resists the saturation of oil, the liquid that most easily stains natural stone countertops.
Sprinkle the powder and add the liquid in a 2:1 ratio on the Granite Floor.
- Massage in the paste with the Inox Pad.
- Attach the Inox pad with any standard floor scrubbing machine.
- Make enough passes until you get the desired shine.
- Allow the first coat to dry for five to ten minutes, and apply a second coat. When the second coat is dry, your stone countertop sealing job is complete. The full repellent effect is achieved within 24 hours, so wait a day before preparing food on the countertop.
When properly sealed with an impregnating product, the surface of your slate, granite, or marble countertops will repel moisture and oil, virtually eliminating the risk of stains. However, it still makes sense to dry spills on the countertop and clean oil from them promptly.
The results of the granite polishing system can be called as lasting beauty and durability of your stone counters in the years ahead.
